HEIMTEXTIL 2023
From 10 to 13 January 2023, our team was at the Heimtextil trade fair in Frankfurt. There we presented our colorful world of licenses as well as our own brands. Especially staged on our 300 m² booth was the streetwear brand “Bench”. Other highlights were “Strassenkicker” by Lukas Podolski, NFL, NASA, Gabby’s Dollhouse and our family bed collection. But also the classics like Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig and many more could not be missing, of course! We look back on a successful fair with numerous conversations and many impressions.

NIGHT OF EDUCATION
On Thursday, November 17, 2022, the district-wide “Night of Apprenticeship” took place once again. We were also happy to open our doors to interested students, parents and siblings on this evening and provide insights into our company and our apprenticeships. In numerous discussions we were able to explain the contents of our apprenticeship professions, provide information about further training opportunities after the apprenticeship and go into detail about the implementation of vocational training especially at HERDING. This includes not only the offer of in-house English lessons, but also several internal and external seminars, as well as excursions and the possibility of an internship abroad in Malta during the apprenticeship.
Applications for an apprenticeship in the field of “Management Assistant for Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management” for the year 2023 are welcome to be sent by e-mail to our Training Manager Ms. Andrea Beisheim (ausbildung@chb.de).

ABK OPEN 2022
After our successful premiere in June, we are looking forward to this year’s 2nd edition/issue of the “ABK OPEN” in Bad Salzuflen.
From 16-17.11.22 we will present a carefully compiled portfolio of selected licenses and trendy brands in the latest designs on a total of 12,000 sqm exhibition space at the trade fair for home textiles, bedding and sleep systems. We are sure we can again appeal to and inspire a wide audience with our selection. Our customers and interested parties can be excited again.

RHEDER MODEL
At the last business dialog on May 19, 2022, we were able to present the Rheder Model to regional entrepreneurs as a provider of ideas and co-initiator. This is a project in which Rheder companies are jointly committed to achieving a greater volume of funding. Currently, more than 20 companies have already decided to support the project and donate. On October 3, 2022, the application phase for the promotion of special projects will start. We are curious to see which projects for the citizens of Rhede can be implemented first.

STREET KICKER BY LUKAS PODOLSKI
Who does not know him? Professional footballer and world champion Lukas Podolski!
In 2014 he founded the streetware label STRASSENKICKER, which since then has increasingly established itself in the market with casual and uncomplicated fashion.
The straightforward LIFESTYLEMARKE embodies a modern and hip lifestyle: authentic, sporty, direct, natural, cool and uncomplicated. A trend that appeals to many children, teenagers and young adults.
With modern designs and high-quality materials, Herding is expanding the STRASSENKICKER range with trendy bed linen, blankets, bath towels and fitness towels.
In the long-term agreement, we were given responsibility for the collection development, sourcing and distribution of the predominantly sustainable STRASSENKICKER home textiles. Our first collection was developed in close coordination with Lukas Podolski and is available immediately.
With this still young brand, HERDING is taking a further step towards lifestyle and meets the zeitgeist of the young generation with simple designs – authentic, sporty, cool.

Vom 29.-30.06.2022 werden wir auf der Fachhandelsmesse für Haustextilien, Bettwaren und Schlafsysteme “ABK OPEN” in Bad Salzuflen zu Gast sein. Auf 12.000 qm Ausstellungsfläche werden dort mehr als 130 Unternehmen ihre aktuellen Marken und Kollektionen präsentieren. Neben unseren Heimtextil-Bestsellern wie Paw Patrol, Britto oder Bench wird unser HERDING Team dort eine absolute Neuheit persönlich präsentieren. Unsere Kundinnen und Kunden können gespannt sein.
