HERDING AS THE FIRST HARD ROCK CAFE LICENSEE

Herding is delighted to welcome home textiles of the Hard Rock Cafe brand in its portfolio as the first licensee  in Europe. Since the year 1971 the Hard Rock Cafe lets visitors dive into a very special world. By awarding a licence to Herding  a first-time marketing of Hard Rock Cafe articles outside the cafes will begin.

There is hardly anybody who hasn’t yet been sitting in a Hard Rock Cafe or at least has heard of it. The theme restaurant is represented  in over 70 countries with more than 180 stores and convinces every guest with a very special atmosphere. Over the years that Cafe has developed into a brand whose  cult shirts are to be found everywhere.

Herding supplements its portfolio with that worldwide known theme.  Bedlinen sets, blankets, cushions, beach towels, bathing robes, pyjamas and kitchen  gadgets with extraordinary designs will be available from autumn on. Herding includes with Hard Rock a theme which is known  and loved world wide, with which you like to identify yourself and show it.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING FAIR 2019

Many young people know exactly what to do after school. For those who are not sure yet and want to get an overview the Volksbank Bocholt eG and the Barmer Krankenversicherung offer an opportunity within the annual Vocational Training Fair.

There were more than 100 exhibitors on three floors at this year’s fair on the 14th September 2019.

Numerous interested pupils, students and parents used the chance to have a close look at local companies and their offers.

The Klaus Herding GmbH could again successfully present its company and vocational trainings.

In numerous discussions we informed about the procedure, the content and the advantages of a vocational training in our house. Especially nowadays it is mandatory for a training enterprise to reach a high grade of attractiveness for our trainees. Furthermore to the possibility of a 4-week training abroad, we also offer our trainees the participation in several seminars and trainings, excursions to a textile museum, to a testing institute and a container port, as well as inhouse English training and a lot more.

We are now looking forward to receiving many interested enquiries and applications.

For the training year 2020 there can still be send applications for the training as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade (f/m/d) to our trainee manager Andrea Beisheim via eMail. ausbildung@chb.de

After a long time Herding exhibits again at Kind + Jugend 2019 in Cologne. The world’s leading trade fair for baby and infant Equipment.

With a brand new booth Herding presents from 19th to 22nd September a wide range of products for babies. Especially focusing on the attractive designs of the in-house brand “Baby Best“ and “Disney Baby“ collections including the license topics Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Particularly highlighted are our premium baby sleeping bags, which take care for a safe and restful sleep. Discover many enchanting motifs in various sizes and qualities.

This international fair shows the impulses for the industry and future products in the kids bedrooms.

With 1,239 exhibitors from 49 different countries and more than 25,000 visitors from all over the world Kind + Jugend is one of the most important fairs worldwide. The product range also includes baby buggies, furniture, baby-, infant- and maternity apparel and toys.

For several years now the focus is on quality and design as well as sustainability and environmental awareness. Herding has a pioneering role here and ensures that the products are made with certified materials, degradable packaging and under high social standards. 6. ECONOMICS DIALOGUE IN RHEDE

On the 9th of May 2019 the sixth economics dialogue took place in Rhede. The host for this years meeting of entrepreneurs was Klaus Herding GmbH, which welcomed about 130 visitors, who got an entertaining virtual guided tour after an introduction of the company.

The mayor of Rhede, Mr. Bernsmann, opened the event and Ms. Holthöfer-Büse led through the evening.

“100 years of Herding – A company through the ages” – under this motto the managing partners Dr. Susanne Litzel and Erwin Seggewiss, plus general manager and member of the management Magnus Belting presented valuable information about the company.

Following Dr. Anke Valentin from the Wirtschaftsladen in Bonn and Spaleck director Carsten Sühlig spoke about the project “green instead of grey – industrial areas in transition” and the possibilities to shape the companies more ecologically and sustainably.

Other points of the economics dialogue were the Azubi-Pflanzaktion – which sends a signal for biodiversity and nature protection, STEK 2035 – a concept, how industrialists in Rhede can contribute to the sustainability and finally useful information from business promoter Jutta Holthöfer-Büse, who gave a summary about the economy and public management in Rhede.

At the end of the presentation Herding invited everyone to food and drinks with a social exchange for the visitors.

Herding was pleased about the numerous appearance of the visitors and would like to thank all participants for the interesting presentations and enjoyable conversations.

HEIMTEXTIL FAIR 2019

With a new and enlarged booth we were able to successfully present our collection novelties from Jan, 8th to Jan, 11th 2019 on the Heimtextil Fair in Frankfurt.

This year we showed our visitors a brand collection of selected licence themes for the first time. Brands like Marvel, Star Wars, Mickey and Minnie Mouse were interpreted in a new way with a subtle fashionable design. Furthermore a widened product range of baby articles was introduced. Apart from the target group orientated licence motifs with characters like Dumbo or Winnie Pooh our in-house Baby Best designs were also very well received.

Of course we showed aside from the new product lines also classics like Paw Patrol, Fireman Sam or The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Moreover Herding could add new licence themes into the portfolio. Newly obligated were e.g. Schleich, Pets 2, Trollhunters or Heroes of the city.

Because there are going to be many exciting cinema releases in 2019, many products were developed and presented accordingly. Cinema highlights like Dragons (How to train your Dragon 3), Avengers or the animated real film adaption of Lion King as well as a brand new product range of the long-awaited part 2 of Frozen and episode 9 of the Star Wars saga were shown.

As one of 3025 exhibitors from 65 different countries we could present a great number of novelties and trends for various target groups to our customers. We are very satisfied with the successful course of the fair.

Many young people know exactly what to do after school. For those who are not sure yet and want to get an overview the Volksbank Bocholt eG and the Barmer Krankenversicherung offer an opportunity within the annual Vocational Training Fair.

There were more than 100 exhibitors on three floors at this year’s fair on the 14th September 2019.

Numerous interested pupils, students and parents used the chance to have a close look at local companies and their offers.

The Klaus Herding GmbH could again successfully present its company and vocational trainings.

After a long time Herding exhibits again at Kind + Jugend 2019 in Cologne. The world’s leading trade fair for baby and infant Equipment.

With a brand new booth Herding presents from 19th to 22nd September a wide range of products for babies. Especially focusing on the attractive designs of the in-house brand “Baby Best“ and “Disney Baby“ collections including the license topics Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Particularly highlighted are our premium baby sleeping bags, which take care for a safe and restful sleep. Discover many enchanting motifs in various sizes and qualities.

HEIMTEXTIL FAIR 2019

With a new and enlarged booth we were able to successfully present our collection novelties from Jan, 8th to Jan, 11th 2019 on the Heimtextil Fair in Frankfurt.

This year we showed our visitors a brand collection of selected licence themes for the first time. Brands like Marvel, Star Wars, Mickey and Minnie Mouse were interpreted in a new way with a subtle fashionable design. Furthermore a widened product range of baby articles was introduced. Apart from the target group orientated licence motifs with characters like Dumbo or Winnie Pooh our in-house Baby Best designs were also very well received.

Of course we showed aside from the new product lines also classics like Paw Patrol, Fireman Sam or The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Moreover Herding could add new licence themes into the portfolio. Newly obligated were e.g. Schleich, Pets 2, Trollhunters or Heroes of the city.

Because there are going to be many exciting cinema releases in 2019, many products were developed and presented accordingly. Cinema highlights like Dragons (How to train your Dragon 3), Avengers or the animated real film adaption of Lion King as well as a brand new product range of the long-awaited part 2 of Frozen and episode 9 of the Star Wars saga were shown.

As one of 3025 exhibitors from 65 different countries we could present a great number of novelties and trends for various target groups to our customers. We are very satisfied with the successful course of the fair.

6. ECONOMICS DIALOGUE IN RHEDE

On the 9th of May 2019 the sixth economics dialogue took place in Rhede. The host for this years meeting of entrepreneurs was Klaus Herding GmbH, which welcomed about 130 visitors, who got an entertaining virtual guided tour after an introduction of the company.

The mayor of Rhede, Mr. Bernsmann, opened the event and Ms. Holthöfer-Büse led through the evening.

“100 years of Herding – A company through the ages” – under this motto the managing partners Dr. Susanne Litzel and Erwin Seggewiss, plus general manager and member of the management Magnus Belting presented valuable information about the company.

Following Dr. Anke Valentin from the Wirtschaftsladen in Bonn and Spaleck director Carsten Sühlig spoke about the project “green instead of grey – industrial areas in transition” and the possibilities to shape the companies more ecologically and sustainably.

Other points of the economics dialogue were the Azubi-Pflanzaktion – which sends a signal for biodiversity and nature protection, STEK 2035 – a concept, how industrialists in Rhede can contribute to the sustainability and finally useful information from business promoter Jutta Holthöfer-Büse, who gave a summary about the economy and public management in Rhede.

At the end of the presentation Herding invited everyone to food and drinks with a social exchange for the visitors.

Herding was pleased about the numerous appearance of the visitors and would like to thank all participants for the interesting presentations and enjoyable conversations.

On March 09, 2019 at the “Azubi – START”-fair, we presented the different types of available apprenticeships at Herding.

The fair is held every second year, informing students and parents about the advantages of taking on an apprenticeship in comparison to traditional university degrees, but also using the platform to inform about Herding as a whole; a regional trading company that specialises in the license segment of the home textile market.

HEIMTEXTIL FAIR 2019

With a new and enlarged booth we were able to successfully present our collection novelties from Jan, 8th to Jan, 11th 2019 on the Heimtextil Fair in Frankfurt.

This year we showed our visitors a brand collection of selected licence themes for the first time. Brands like Marvel, Star Wars, Mickey and Minnie Mouse were interpreted in a new way with a subtle fashionable design. Furthermore a widened product range of baby articles was introduced. Apart from the target group orientated licence motifs with characters like Dumbo or Winnie Pooh our in-house Baby Best designs were also very well received.

Of course we showed aside from the new product lines also classics like Paw Patrol, Fireman Sam or The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Moreover Herding could add new licence themes into the portfolio. Newly obligated were e.g. Schleich, Pets 2, Trollhunters or Heroes of the city.

Because there are going to be many exciting cinema releases in 2019, many products were developed and presented accordingly. Cinema highlights like Dragons (How to train your Dragon 3), Avengers or the animated real film adaption of Lion King as well as a brand new product range of the long-awaited part 2 of Frozen and episode 9 of the Star Wars saga were shown.

As one of 3025 exhibitors from 65 different countries we could present a great number of novelties and trends for various target groups to our customers. We are very satisfied with the successful course of the fair.
