Bench home textiles – exclusively with us
Probably everyone knows the jumpers with the distinctive Bench logo. From now on, also bed linen, cushions and blankets, beach and sauna towels as well as fitness towels will complement the range of the established fashion brand Bench. HERDING has been able to win the first Bench licence for the Home and Living sector. With us, the family-owned company HERDING from Rhede in Westphalia, a partner with over 100 years of experience was found for this. In the long-term agreement, we were given responsibility for collection development, procurement and distribution of Bench home textiles.
The first collection is available to order now. “For a young lifestyle brand like Bench, bed linen, bath towels as well as cushions and blankets are simply a must in order to allow the urban Bench style to enter the home,” Magnus Belting and Erwin Seggewiß from the HERDING management agree.

BIT² VACATIONAL INFORMATION DAY 2021
On Saturday, 04 September 2021, the BIT² (Vocational Information Day) of the vocational college in Borken took place again after a two-year break.
Numerous visitors took the opportunity to exchange information personally again with training companies and to inform themselves about the possibilities for choosing a carreer.
We were also there again and were able to present our apprenticeship occupations and ourselves as a regional training company in many discussions. Through the event, we were able to provide good insights into the content of the professions and answer many open questions of the students, as well as interested parents.

The training of young people is very close to our hearts. We are pleased to welcome three new trainees at the start of training on 01.08.2021. The new colleagues will start their vocational training as businesswomen for wholesale and foreign trade management as well as media designer digital and print. This means that we are currently training seven young people in different professions. Over the next two and three years, respectively, they will pass through the company’s departments and thus be optimally prepared for their final exams.

OUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE FUTURE E.V. ASSOCIATION
We have successfully completed our participation in the CSR project with our certification as a CSR company. We have now decided to become a member of “future e.V.” in order to remain in contact with other CSR companies, to exchange information on current topics and to find ideas for new projects.
The future e.V. was founded by responsible medium-sized companies and shows that socially responsible action in the sense of environmental protection can best be achieved in entrepreneurial self-responsibility and does not require excessive state regulation. Today, of course, the issues go far beyond environmental protection.

HERDING RECEIVES THE CSR COMPANY AWARD
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) comprises the entire subject area of responsible corporate management.
Our Herding CSR team of employees from all departments and the management has addressed this topic in the past 12 months and, after employee surveys and self-assessments, dealt with the creation of an action plan.
CSR deals with corporate responsibility that goes beyond the legal requirements, which were divided into four fields of action in the project:
Workplace & employees, community & civic engagement, product responsibility & market and corporate environmental protection.
13 companies were accompanied in this process by a series of workshops by the CSR Competence Center Münsterland.
The award motivates us to implement our plan of measures and to make improvements visible step by step.
We have decided to pursue the concept of sustainability in all areas of our company’s action, in order to take on community and social responsibility.
CSR is our contribution, which we will keep in focus to achieve constant optimization in all business areas.

HERDING has been able to win the first Bench licence for the Home and Living sector. With us, the family-owned company HERDING from Rhede in Westphalia, a partner with over 100 years of experience was found for this. In the long-term agreement, we were given responsibility for collection development, procurement and distribution of Bench home textiles.
The first collection is available to order now. “For a young lifestyle brand like Bench, bed linen, bath towels as well as cushions and blankets are simply a must in order to allow the urban Bench style to enter the home,” Magnus Belting and Erwin Seggewiß from the HERDING management agree.

BIT² VACATIONAL INFORMATION DAY 2021
On Saturday, 04 September 2021, the BIT² (Vocational Information Day) of the vocational college in Borken took place again after a two-year break.
Numerous visitors took the opportunity to exchange information personally again with training companies and to inform themselves about the possibilities for choosing a carreer.
We were also there again and were able to present our apprenticeship occupations and ourselves as a regional training company in many discussions. Through the event, we were able to provide good insights into the content of the professions and answer many open questions of the students, as well as interested parents.

The training of young people is very close to our hearts. We are pleased to welcome three new trainees at the start of training on 01.08.2021. The new colleagues will start their vocational training as businesswomen for wholesale and foreign trade management as well as media designer digital and print. This means that we are currently training seven young people in different professions. Over the next two and three years, respectively, they will pass through the company’s departments and thus be optimally prepared for their final exams.

OUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE FUTURE E.V. ASSOCIATION
We have successfully completed our participation in the CSR project with our certification as a CSR company. We have now decided to become a member of “future e.V.” in order to remain in contact with other CSR companies, to exchange information on current topics and to find ideas for new projects.
The future e.V. was founded by responsible medium-sized companies and shows that socially responsible action in the sense of environmental protection can best be achieved in entrepreneurial self-responsibility and does not require excessive state regulation. Today, of course, the issues go far beyond environmental protection.

HERDING RECEIVES THE CSR COMPANY AWARD
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) comprises the entire subject area of responsible corporate management.
Our Herding CSR team of employees from all departments and the management has addressed this topic in the past 12 months and, after employee surveys and self-assessments, dealt with the creation of an action plan.
CSR deals with corporate responsibility that goes beyond the legal requirements, which were divided into four fields of action in the project:
Workplace & employees, community & civic engagement, product responsibility & market and corporate environmental protection.
13 companies were accompanied in this process by a series of workshops by the CSR Competence Center Münsterland.
The award motivates us to implement our plan of measures and to make improvements visible step by step.
We have decided to pursue the concept of sustainability in all areas of our company’s action, in order to take on community and social responsibility.
CSR is our contribution, which we will keep in focus to achieve constant optimization in all business areas.
