On 15 November 2021, we signed our second cooperation agreement with Rhede Comprehensive School as part of the IHK project “Partnership between school and company”.

The contents of the cooperation agreement include company visits for the pupils to gain an insight into the economic processes of a trading company, as well as the use of HERDING trainees as IHK training ambassadors in the classes. They provide information about their apprenticeship occupations and their contents and are available to answer questions at eye level.

“We are looking forward to the cooperation with the comprehensive school and would like to make it easier for the pupils to decide on a regional vocational training programme,” says training manager Andrea Beisheim. The main goal is to support career orientation. The cooperation brings the company closer to the pupils and the school, which in turn brings them closer to the business world.
